On our way home from the grocery store, we encountered this fellow. Even with torn wings (and is that a spider web attached to the wing too?), he was collecting as much pollen as he could on this one flower. Poor li'l thing was literally working himself to death, I think.

I wonder how his wings got damaged. I'm impressed he is still hard at work. A lesson to us all?
Love this industrious little bee! I also took a shot at one today... unfortunately the up close one blurred. hmph. :)
